The Heritage Work 2019 Godsightings

Jesus moved the center of spiritual life from the temple to the table;  and moved the living locus of His Presence & Spirit from heaven to the human heart.  He is Immanuel, which means God with us.  He told us his kingdom is near, indeed all around us. May we have eyes to see it.

When Jesus himself wanted to explain to his disciples what his forthcoming death was all about, he didn’t give them a theory, he gave them a meal.

Where 2 or 3 gather in My name, there I am in their midst.

God prepares a table before us... Psalm 23:5

May we be curious, generous of spirit, and have eyes to see the sacredness of the Table this season --and throughout the year-- especially in the hospitality of God's presence there, in the tables we are invited to, or host.  These are the building blocks of God's household, as we imitate the Banquet yet to come.

Thank you all for loving & undergirding Sarah and me in 2019
